More than a seminar, a founding moment
Every year, BLACKBOX brings together those who write its history on a daily basis.
The 2026 seminar, organized at Impulstar Park, was not simply a day of gathering. It was an opportunity to step back, to measure the distance traveled and above all to collectively share the ambitions that will guide the brand in the coming months and years.
This meeting perfectly illustrates what defines BLACKBOX's identity: a company that grows without ever losing sight of those who build it.
Growth accelerating year after year
When you look at recent years, the evolution is impressive.
In 2023, the seminar brought together only 34 employees.
In 2025, more than 150 people were present at the Grand Rex to celebrate a new milestone in the group's history.
Today, in 2026, BLACKBOX brings together more than 200 employees spread throughout France and internationally.
This progression is not just about numbers. It reflects a brand that is structuring itself, that attracts new talent, that opens new markets and that builds, year after year, a true corporate culture.
First part: sharing tomorrow's vision
The morning was dedicated to a time of exchange between management, franchisees and managers. An essential moment to present BLACKBOX's roadmap.
Beyond the results, the objective was above all to explain where the brand is going with major announcements.
Dubai: a new international benchmark
A few months earlier, in February 2026, BLACKBOX officially opened its doors in Dubai. This new location confirms the brand's ability to adapt to international markets while maintaining its identity, its standards and its expertise.
Each opening strengthens the group's credibility on a global scale.
BLACKBOX Los Angeles: heading to Melrose Avenue
One of the most striking announcements concerns the upcoming opening of BLACKBOX Melrose – Los Angeles, scheduled for the end of July 2026.
After Casablanca and Dubai, this location symbolizes a new milestone in the brand's international expansion. Setting up on Melrose Avenue, one of Los Angeles' most iconic avenues, confirms BLACKBOX's global ambition.
A new customer experience with Fresha
The seminar was also an opportunity to announce a major change in the customer experience. The first BLACKBOX salons have begun their transition to Fresha, one of the most widely used booking platforms in the world.
The objective is clear:
the entire network will gradually switch to Fresha by the end of 2026. An important evolution that will provide a smoother, more modern and more efficient booking experience, while supporting the network's development.
BLACKBOX Academy: passing on the craft
Another highly anticipated announcement: the official opening of BLACKBOX Academy from September onwards. This new school will train future hairdressing professionals through the following qualifications:
- CAP Hairdressing Professions
- Professional Diploma (BP)
Training tomorrow's talent is now an integral part of the BLACKBOX strategy. Because developing a network also means passing on expertise, values and a vision of the profession.
A huge barbecue to bring the entire BLACKBOX family together
After this information-rich morning, it was time for a more friendly moment.
All employees gathered around a gigantic barbecue organized in the heart of Impulstar Park. Beyond the meal, this lunch perfectly represented the BLACKBOX spirit. Employees from all over France were able to exchange, meet new colleagues, share their experiences and strengthen the bonds between the different salons.
It was also at this time that the tournament teams were unveiled.
17 teams. One objective.
The afternoon was dedicated to the now unmissable BLACKBOX tournament. No less than 17 teams, representing the salons in the network, competed in a competition combining team spirit, self-improvement and good humor.
For several hours, employees defended their salon's colors with the same passion they put into serving their customers every day. Beyond the results, this tournament perfectly symbolizes BLACKBOX culture:
performance is built together.
BLACKBOX 77 wins the tournament
Following a closely contested final between BLACKBOX Enghien and BLACKBOX 77, it was the BLACKBOX 77 team that triumphed and won this 2026 edition.
To reward this victory, the players were given a weekend in the destination of their choice, far more than a reward, this trip was designed as a true moment of respite. Because performance also comes through rest, cohesion and memories created together.
More than a network of salons
In just a few years, BLACKBOX has gone from:
- 34 employees gathered at the 2023 seminar,
- to more than 150 employees at the Grand Rex in 2025,
- then to more than 200 employees in 2026, present in several countries.
Development continues with:
- new openings in France;
- Casablanca;
- Dubai;
- Los Angeles;
- BLACKBOX Academy;
- digital transition with Fresha.
But despite this growth, one thing remains unchanged: people remain at the heart of every decision. Because as the salons grow, as projects multiply and borders open, BLACKBOX remains above all a collective adventure.
A year of transformation
The 2026 seminar will remain a pivotal moment in BLACKBOX's history.
A day that made it possible to look back at the distance traveled, to announce major projects to come and to remind that behind each opening, each innovation and each international ambition, there are women and men who build the brand every day.
