BLACKBOX Participates in the First CSR Clean Walk in the Barbering World, Organized by Project Rescue Ocean Alongside Capillum

On September 28, BLACKBOX participated in a Clean Walk day organized in Paris by the association Project Rescue Ocean, alongside Capillum and other stakeholders from the barber and hairdresser community.

This initiative represents a first in the barbering world, bringing together professionals from the sector around a concrete, collective CSR action focused on environmental protection.

An initiative marked by collective commitment, environmental awareness, and mobilization around a concrete action for the environment.

Despite the rain, the teams present answered the call and mobilized to concretely contribute to the collection of wild waste in the streets of Paris.

A Morning Marked by Commitment

The day began at 9:30 AM at Paname Café, with a welcome session bringing together the various participants.

At 10 AM, participants attended the speech by Benoit Schumann, Founder and President of Project Rescue Ocean, who came to present the NGO, its commitment, and the importance of awareness-raising and waste collection actions.

The morning then continued with the assignment of challenges to the different teams and the launch of the Clean Walk operation.

For BLACKBOX, this day represents a new opportunity to mobilize its community around a concrete and collective approach.

A Meaningful Mobilization

This Clean Walk brought together several teams from the community of hairdressing and barbering professionals.

In total, 4 teams were mobilized, with particularly significant participation despite the weather conditions.

The results of this morning are concrete:

• 72 kg of wild waste collected
• Nearly 2,000 cigarette butts picked up
• A community of barbers and hairdressers united around the same initiative

Beyond the numbers, this operation primarily served to create a true collective dynamic and raise participants' awareness of the impact of waste present in public spaces.

BLACKBOX Alongside Capillum

This initiative also continues the actions carried out with Capillum, a French company specializing in hair collection and recycling.

Through this collaboration, BLACKBOX also aims to raise awareness among its salons and teams about various responsible approaches and encourage collective mobilization around initiatives with a concrete impact.

Clément Baldellou, President and Co-founder of Capillum, was present during this day to support this mobilization and participate in this dynamic bringing together stakeholders from the hairdressing sector.

This Clean Walk thus illustrates the desire to create actions that go beyond the salon setting and allow the community of barbers and hairdressers to mobilize around collective projects.

Great Energy Despite the Rain

The weather conditions did not prevent participants from showing up.

Despite the rain, the teams maintained excellent momentum throughout the morning. This mobilization helped transform this day into a true moment of sharing, commitment, and cohesion.

The morning ended at 12:30 PM with the sorting of collected waste and an award ceremony for the participants.

A way to conclude this operation by highlighting the efforts made by all the teams.

For BLACKBOX, participating in this Clean Walk represents much more than a simple one-off operation.

It's an opportunity to bring together employees, managers, owners, and more broadly the community of barbering professionals around a concrete action.

With 4 teams mobilized, 72 kg of waste collected, and nearly 2,000 cigarette butts picked up, this day shows that collective mobilization can quickly produce concrete results.
